I know a ton of people have said this before but for the love everything PLEASE stop treating AO3 like instagram. It is NOT cringe to comment on an old story. It’s an archive old stories are still meant to be found and read. Please think about interacting with the fic you read: at least kudos if you read it, a comment would be ideal. The authors will be over the moon. I guarantee you not a single author is going to ask why someone is commenting on an older fic.
AO3 is a library. That’s the point of libraries. Please kudos and comment!
It’s subtle, but when Christopher Plummer rips up the Nazis flag, it’s showing his character rejecting the Nazis. Really subtle, totally understand how you can miss it
Tell me you only watched the first VHS tape growing up without telling me you only watched the first VHS tape growing up.
It was released as a two-tape set (it’s a long movie after all) so I’m guessing Tape 1 was all the Maria-comes-to-Von-Trapp-Town and oh no he’s cute; and the Nazi part didn’t show up until Tape 2.
You are absolutely correct. The Nazis become part of the plot in Tape 2, given that it is a long film and that it took two VHS, back in the day, to contain the whole of it. Ask me how I know!

Welcome back to the Valentine’s Challenge! The library will post a song prompt, complete with lyrics and video if available, at midnight EST starting on February 1 and every day through February 14th.
The challenge is for Klaine fanfiction, although if you desire to write CrissColfer fanfiction, we’d be happy to include that as well. We’d also love to see artwork/graphics inspired by the weekly song prompts.
You can do whatever your muse tells you. Either write a 14 chapter story (the more new stories in fandom, the better!), or 14 separate one shots, or you can create art. However you interpret the song is up to you. Maybe just the title moves you, the lyrics, just one line in the lyrics - it’s up to you. And the more words, the sweeter!
